Sixty years of leaving the light on
Porchlight has been on Chestnut Street since 1961. We are not large and we are not slick. The bulletin is folded by hand on Saturday mornings, usually by whoever turns up.
What we do well is showing up: with food when someone is ill, with a truck when someone is moving, and with a seat on Sunday for anyone who wants one.
