A church for the second shift

Evening Table meets at seven on Sunday nights, because a great many people in this city are working at ten in the morning. Servers, nurses, musicians, cooks — this is the church that fits around that.

We eat first and worship after. The room is lit with candles and lamps, the music is quiet, and the whole thing is over by half past eight.
